What changes: the copying stops

With a tracker your AI cannot reach, answering "what moved?" in your AI means export, paste and explain. Here your AI reads the record itself: positions stored with date and ranking page. See the old way and the new way

What your AI can do

alpinerun.example: which keywords dropped this week? For the biggest drop, show me what changed around it. Then make the client report for the last 30 days.

  • list_projects
  • get_changes
  • get_overview
  • get_report_branding
  • generate_report
  • explain_change
  • get_keyword_history
  • get_rankings

Four alpinerun.example keywords dropped this week, and "trail running shoes" is the one to look at first. […] Cause: this data shows what moved, not why, so it doesn't explain the drop. […] Download the 30-day PDF report.

A real Claude Code session on a test copy of the server, with a fictional agency's data. Trimmed for length; the words and tool calls are as they ran.

What you gain by moving

  • Your AI runs the tracker: keywords, what moved, alerts and the PDF
  • Slack and webhook alerts beside email
  • Competitor positions and Google AI Overview, in the dashboard and for your AI
  • A free trial on the plan you choose, with a card on file

What you give up

  • Backlink rows and keyword lookups
  • The Local Map Pack and exact geo-location
  • Unlimited refreshes and unlimited domains
  • Custom agency tiers above 1,000 keywords
  • Anything you track past the top 30, which reads as not in the top 30 here
  • The browser extension and the Google Analytics integration
  • Your ranking history, which stays where it is

How to move

  1. Add each site

One project for each site, location, language and device you track today. A site on desktop and mobile takes two projects, and its keywords count twice against your plan. Your AI can do this with create_project.

  2. Bring your keywords

Paste them, import a CSV, or give the list to your AI. Your record here starts with the first check.

  3. Run both for a while

History does not transfer, so positions here start from the first check. Keep the old tracker until the new record covers your reports.
