Here, reading costs nothing, and the one action that spends anything draws on an allowance with a hard stop. Your AI can ask `get_usage` what is left before it refreshes anything. A new account gets one 14-day free trial, on the plan you choose and with that plan's limits. It needs a confirmed email address and a card, which Stripe collects, and it starts when you add the card. Nothing is charged during those days. We email you before they end, with the end date and the price. If you do not cancel before they end, your plan starts and Stripe charges the card the plan's price. ### Can my AI run up the bill? No. The price is flat. Reading has no meter, and refreshes stop at the plan's monthly allowance. Your AI can check what is left with get_usage. ### What happens when the refresh checks run out? Refreshes stop until the allowance resets next month. Daily checks carry on, and your AI can still read everything. ### Can I change plan or cancel? Yes, whenever you like, and only the account owner can. Change plan on the Billing page. To cancel, choose Manage billing there and cancel in Stripe's customer portal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. After that, daily checks and scheduled reports stop, and your data stays readable until you ask us to delete it. To move to a smaller plan, first remove the keywords above its limit. Removing a keyword deletes its history. ### Can I get a refund? Write to support@theserpagent.ai from your account's address within 14 days of your first payment. We refund that payment in full and end your plan. This covers monthly and yearly plans, once per customer. We do not refund partial periods or renewals. The refund policy has the detail.
