## The real difference: reading or acting

AccuRanker's AI connection reads a much wider record, and changes stay in its app. Here your AI reads less, and it can do the work: set up the client, add the keywords, set the alert and make the report.

Either can be right. A read-only connection cannot change your account. Here a key can change or delete any project, so you decide who holds it.

[What your AI can do](https://theserpagent.ai/ai-agents)

Start tracking summitbikes.example for me: New York, mobile. Add these keywords to a list called Spring: gravel bike, gravel bike tires, bike packing bags, best gravel bikes. Tell me when any of them drops 3 places or more. Then tell me how much of my plan is left.

- search_locations
- create_project
- add_keywords
- create_alert
- get_usage

summitbikes.example is now being tracked in New York on mobile, with all four keywords in the Spring list. […] **Alert:** you'll be told when a Spring keyword drops 3 or more places.

A real Claude Code session on a test copy of the server, with a fictional agency's data. Trimmed for length; the words and tool calls are as they ran.

## What you gain by moving

- A far lower price if your list fits: from $19.99 a month, against €269 for AccuRanker's lowest plan
- An AI that can act: projects, keywords, refreshes, competitors, alerts, and the client PDF with its branding and schedule
- Email, Slack and webhook alerts from the tracker itself. AccuRanker's guide describes in-app notifications, and alerts your AI runs

## What you give up

- Lists above 1,000 keywords: no plan here goes higher
- Depth past the top 30, and rankings on Bing, Baidu and YouTube
- Client dashboards, and more than one sign-in
- A connection that cannot change your account
- A record since 2013. This product is new, with no published accuracy check yet
- Your ranking history, which stays where it is

The table above has the full list.

## How to move

1. Add each site One project for each site, location, language and device you track today. A site on desktop and mobile takes two projects, and its keywords count twice against your plan. Your AI can do this with `create_project`.
2. Bring your keywords Export your keywords from AccuRanker, then import a CSV with them in the first column, or give the list to your AI. Your record here starts with the first check.
3. Run both for a while History does not transfer, so positions here start from the first check. Keep AccuRanker until the new record covers your reports.

## Questions from people switching

### Is it cheaper than AccuRanker?

Yes, if your list fits. Plans here run from $19.99 a month to 1,000 keywords. AccuRanker's lowest plan is €269 a month for 2,000 keywords, or €229 billed yearly, as read on 7 November 2026. Above 1,000 keywords there is no plan here, so the comparison stops.

### What does AccuRanker do that this does not?

Depth to the top 100, Bing, Baidu and YouTube, locations down to a specific address, 45+ SERP features, pixel position, CTR models and forecasting, AI answer tracking with AccuLLM, a keyword database, Search Console and Analytics connections, public report links, unlimited users and domains, a ChatGPT app and a claude.ai connector, and lists up to 20,000 keywords and beyond.

### Does AccuRanker have an MCP server?

Yes. AccuRanker MCP is included in its plans and connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Perplexity and others. Its guide says the connection is read-only, as read on 7 November 2026.

### Why would I want my AI to change things?

So the whole job runs in one place: set up a client, add the keywords, refresh after a page change, set the alert and make the report. If you would rather your AI could only read, AccuRanker's connection does that, and here a key can change or delete any project.

### Can I run both?

Yes. Each is its own connection in your AI assistant, so you can keep AccuRanker for its wider data while you try this.

### Can I bring my ranking history with me?

No. Positions start from your first check here. You can run both until the new record is long enough for your reports.

### How do I bring my keywords over?

AccuRanker says it exports data as CSV. Import a CSV here with the keywords in the first column, or give the list to your AI, which can add up to 500 in one call.
